A Sacred Place As of 12 June 2012 we're officially a 501(c)(3) Non Profit, Tax Exempt, Public Charity

DIRECTIONS: A Sacred Place, Inc.

was founded to be a spiritual sanctuary for those in need of respite. We are not a church, our charter was created specifically for us to be a 501(c) (3) Public Charity so we would not be limited by a specific set of dogmatic principles. Helping the homeless and those in need has been a foundation stone of A Sacred Place. Long before we organized many members were providing the homeless and less f

ortunate with clothing, shelter, and food. That has, and will continue, to be a primary focus. Our goal is to continue existing programs, such as The Mitten Project and outreach. Our hope is:

Ø To expand our farming operation to provide nutritious food to local pantries and lunch programs.

Ø Create adequate shelters on site so that more people can be safely housed as they transition from homelessness to self sufficiency each year.

A big Thank You to Leona, Drake and Wendell for spending the afternoon lending a hand.
We flame weeded a couple of spots. You can actually see the rocks around the septic now.
Cleaned up the back patio of all the old/wet wood pellets and pallets, they'll make great mulch.
Took a little walk and discovered where the bridge went, clearing that mess is going to be quite the project.
Moved the staging over to the green house. We will get the plastic on it (come hell and high water) this spring.
We're all a bit sore but I bet we'll all sleep well tonight.
