“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place…Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…”
Acts 2:1; 3-4

We want God’s provision…
without His process.
We want His promises…
without daily dependence.
We want bread for tomorrow…
but we don’t want to obey today.

You know, if you were to study the book of Job, you'd find that the main question of the book is, will you love God and will you trust God no matter what happens? Why do we worship God? Why do we love God? Do we worship only when things are good? Or will you love God and serve Him, no matter what happens?

Friends, this is the ultimate test of your faith, will you worship God even though everything's going wrong in your life? You see, we are not promised a perfect life. This is not heaven. This is earth. And so our faith will be tested and untested faith is really no faith at all. And a lot of times things happen in your life. In fact, most of the times we don't have an explanation and we may never get an explanation. When bad things happen there may be times you just have to say, "I don't know. I don't get the big picture, but I trust that God is good." Life is not always good, but God is always good.

How do you trust God when your heart is breaking? How do you put your eyes on God when they're filled with tears? Well, the antidote to bitterness is not to just say, "I don't want to be bitter." The antidote to bitterness is actually praise, it's worship. What is worship? Worship is focusing on God.

Here are some things that I can build my life on when I don't understand why things are happening in my life. God is here, God is near, God cares, God is powerful, God has a plan, and He’s going to use it all for good. It’s not all good but God will use it for good!

What comes to mind when you hear the word “desert?” Most of us think of a barren, sandy, waterless, and lifeless place.

Spiritually, the desert is most often associated with dryness, wandering, isolation, testing, and waiting. But there’s much, much more to the desert and wilderness seasons of our lives.

When the children of Israel departed Egypt they found themselves in the desert. Pharaoh had a change of mind and wanted to recapture the children of Israel. They seemed to be in a hopeless situation! The Red Sea on this side and Pharaoh’s Army advancing from the other. But God made a way where there seemed to be no way! He parted the Red Sea and the children of Israel walked through it on dry ground. Miracles happen in the desert!

Ladies, you’re invited to Our Women’s Conference!

Come expecting encouragement, renewal, healing, and a fresh touch from God. This will be a time for women to gather, worship, grow, and be reminded of who God has called us to be.

No matter what season you’re in, there is a seat for you. Bring a friend, bring your sister, bring your mother, come ready to receive.

Hope to see you soon!

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”
Isaiah 43:18–19

No one likes to admit it, but brokenness can feel comfortable.
Excuses can become identity.
Victimhood can become a lifestyle.

But you can’t hold onto what’s making you sick and expect to be healed.
If you want to move forward, you have to let go.
