The Swift Silver Mine Festival parade was awesome!

It was a blessing to meet and greet the parade attendees and especially our veterans who were on the Grand Marshal float.

Dear Campton Methodist Church family,

Please join us at 10:00 AM at the church on Saturday, September 5th, as we set up at the “Caring Corner” for the Swift Silver Mine Festival parade. All volunteers are welcome!

The parade will begin at 11:00 AM. We will be greeting parade attendees and handing out free water to help everyone stay cool in the heat. 💧☀️

Please note: We will be sharing the church parking lot with our amazing veterans who will be participating in the parade.

So come join us as we enjoy the parade, serve our community, and share God’s love! ❤️

After School Fuel is back! 🙌

Today we had our first After School Fuel event of the new school year!
We were so glad to meet and greet some of our Wolfe County Middle School and High School students.

We are praying for all our students that they have an awesome school year. May they also know that they are loved and supported by their community and churches.

May the Lord watch over our students, guide them, protect them, and bless them throughout this school year. 🙏

We look forward to seeing everyone again on the last Friday of each month! 🚾💙

In today’s message on Matthew 14:22-33, we talked about Jesus meeting His disciples in the storm and the importance of keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, even when life gets difficult.

After worship, we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship as we presented gifts to our students who are heading to college. We continue to pray for all of our students as they return to school, as well as for our teachers, coaches, and everyone involved in education.

A special thank you to our hostess team, everyone who brought delicious food, and everyone who stayed to help clean up afterward. We are so grateful for the love, generosity, and fellowship of our church family ❤️

May we continue to fix our eyes on Jesus in every season.
