We’re excited to share our Summer PreK & Children’s Ministry Newsletter! 😎☀️💙

Our hope is that this newsletter becomes an easy way for our families to stay connected and know what’s happening in our ministry. Inside, you’ll find upcoming schedules, Sunday School lesson previews, special events, important reminders, and highlights of all the fun and meaningful moments our kids have been enjoying.

We want you to feel connected to what your children are learning each week and to have one place where you can keep up with everything going on. We hope you enjoy it, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come over these Summer months! ❤️

Another wonderful Sunday in our PreK Ministry! ❤️

Our 4/5 year old & Kindergarten Sunday School class learned about Samuel listening to God and how we should always have hearts that are ready to hear and obey Him.

Our Nursery and 2/3 year old classes put a fun spin on the “67” trend by making it all about Ephesians 6 and the “Armour of God.” With a little more focus on what it means to “serve with a good attitude, as to the Lord and not to people.” (Ephesians 6:7) Ms. Laura even found a cute little song to help us with our lesson! We love taking everyday moments, even a date on the calendar, and using them to point our little ones to God’s Word.

Also included are photos of our favorite Toddler ETC activity of playing with PlayDoh. While playing and making shapes, we eventually turned on the church livestream and the kids were excited to see Pastor Dave on TV!

At Lowell Avenue Baptist Church, we care about the children and families in our community. With summer break in full swing, we wanted to share the Summer Feeding Program schedules for both Campbellsville Independent Schools and Taylor County Schools.

If your family could benefit from these programs or if you know someone who could, please check out the attached schedules for meal locations and serving times.

This past week, our Wednesday night crew made a blanket for the aunt of one of our church members who is currently going through some unexpected health issues.

As they worked on the blanket, they prayed over it and asked God to bring healing, peace, and strength in the days ahead.

Moments like this remind us that even small acts of kindness can share the love of Christ in a big way. 💜
