September 1st means one thing, Fall is here at Lowell Avenue!

A new quarter means new lessons, new friendships, new opportunities and lots of ways for our kids and teens to grow in their faith! ❤️

We’ve combined everything into one place, making it easier than ever to stay connected and up to date with everything happening across our ministries; from our littlest ones in Preschool all the way through our 12th grade students!

🌎💛 Learning About God’s Creation! 💛🌎

Our preschoolers have been having so much fun learning about God’s beautiful creation over the last few weeks!

We’ve talked about how God made the world, the sky, the land, the plants, the animals, and people. Most importantly, we’re learning that God had a plan for everything He created! 🙌

Today, we learned that God planned families, too! We talked about how God gives us families to love, care for, and grow with and that every family is special because God made a plan for each one.

Watching these little hearts learn about God and His Word is such a blessing! 🥰 We pray that these simple lessons are planting seeds of faith that will grow with them for years to come.

📚🍎 Praying Over a New School Year! 🎒✏️

It’s hard to believe another school year is here! As our kids head back to the classroom, we want them to know that they are loved, prayed for, and never alone. ❤️

We’re praying for every child walking through those school doors, as well as every teacher, administrator, bus driver, counselor, aide, and staff member who will pour into them throughout the year.

We pray for patience when things are hard, courage when things are new, kindness toward others, friendships that encourage them, and wisdom for every decision they make. Most of all, we pray that they would feel God’s presence with them each and every day.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

Here’s to a new year full of learning, growing, new friendships, lots of memories, and watching God work in the lives of our children! 💙📚🙏🏼

We’ve had so much fun in our Preschool Ministry these last few weeks! ❤️

Now that VBS has wrapped up, we wanted to share a few photos from the last several weeks in our Sunday School classes! 📸💛

It’s been so much fun watching these kids learn, grow, and make memories together. We also loved seeing them share a few of their Illumination Station songs with our church family yesterday. They did an amazing job, and we couldn’t be more proud!

And just like that, VBS 2026 has come to an end… and what an incredible week it has been! 💙✨

Our church was filled with laughter, worship, Bible lessons, games, crafts, missions, and so many amazing kids all week long. We are so thankful for every child and family that chose to spend part of their summer with us as we learned that God’s truth shines brightly in our lives.

A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who made this week possible. Whether you taught, helped with rotations, served on the safety team, worked registration, prepared meals, cleaned up, or served behind the scenes. You played an important part in making this week a success. We truly couldn’t have done it without each of you.

Congratulations to our VBS Olympics Champions, the 7–8 year old Orange Team! 🧡🏅 They brought the energy all week and earned the title after some fun competition!

Our Boys vs. Girls offering challenge was another exciting part of the week, and the boys came out on top! That meant Pastor Dave had to pay the price… and let’s just say he ended Family Night covered in plenty of silly string! 😂 Thank you to everyone who gave so generously. Every dollar collected will go to Green River Ministries, helping serve families right here in our community.

Family Night was the perfect way to wrap up an amazing week. It was such a blessing to see our kids share what they learned, worship together, and then celebrate with food, fellowship, and lots of water fun!

Most importantly, we pray the seeds that were planted this week continue to grow long after VBS is over. Thank you for allowing us to invest in your children and point them to Jesus.

Thank you all for making Illumination Station 2026 one to remember. We already can’t wait to see what God has in store for next year! ❤️
