It is with a humbled heart and bittersweet emotions of the flesh, that I must announce that Digging Wells Ministries concluded it's final service on Sunday August 31st.
Leadership is very clear, concise, and abundantly adamant that this is not a forfeiture, failure, or submission to defeat.
We are Victorious, as the Lamb of God has paid that price in FULL, for us, in spades.
We ask for prayers that all members retain their faith through this brief time of uncertainty. This was not a decision that was taken lightly or made in a rush of judgement. Yet, it was a decision that had to be made.
If you weren't aware, the humble beginnings of our ministry consisted of hungry souls with a great thirst and Love of the Lord, meeting and gathering at specific times at specific places.
We held services at the lake, without even a house or building to call our own. And then the Lord made gracious provisions for us and blessed us with a building that we could call our Home.
I want to personally thank God for the privilege it has been to serve Him as Worship Leader for every precious moment that He deemed it so.
We were never a mega church. We never aspired to be anything more than the Lord would allow or willed for Us. But, we are still a GREAT Church that produced much fruit. We were abundantly blessed to witness salvation after salvation and even baptized as many as 15 souls in a single service. For a church with fewer than 50 members, I have never witnessed such a successful and bountiful harvest. We are blessed to have witnessed it and taken part in it.
In closing, I'd like to reiterate the many souls that we were blessed to even have the opportunity to help lead to the Lord.
Unfortunately, there are those that consider our situation a failure. I have just one question, How many souls have you helped lead to the Lord? This is not a personal boast, but a testament of the Power of God and His ability to move through His Bride, His Body, collectively, via the Holy Spirit.
Alone and of this World, we are nothing but dust, firewood if you will.. But through Him we are made Worthy. We are more than grateful that He saw fit to share His success with us.
It's always been for His Glory. Not ours. For our righteousness is as filthy rags.
We poured out our souls, Lord! We were faithful to the end!
Now we have a new journey. May we keep the faith and in ALL things give you ALL of the Glory, Honor, and Praise!
Thank You, Lord. You are WORTHY, because worthy is the Lamb!!!
