Security cameras have paid for themselves a few times now. Latest time was a few weeks back. A couple young boys decided it would be fun doing doughnuts in our parking lot. After checking cameras they were identified. Sheriff dept spoke to both parents. Parents called and apologized. Because of the age we decided to not prosecute them but I think they learned a lesson. Funny thing is they were right beside a sign warning of security cameras. Guess they didn’t learn how to read LOL

For those that may not know:
Our pastor, Bro. Gerald W. Murphy, has resigned as our pastor due to some difficulties as a result of a stroke. His last Sunday was supposed to be January 25th but we didn’t have church that day or the following week due to snow, ice & extreme cold. As a result of this we will be having Gerald Murphy Sunday this week. He will be preaching the Morning Worship Service followed by a pot luck lunch and time of fellowship for people to have time to show Gerald, Shelia & Mrs Ival our love. We hope to see all family & friends. Bring a dish or two & come join us.

Tomorrow, Feb 8, Good Hope will have services as usual. Sunday School 10:00. Worship Service 11:00
Parking lot has been cleared and NO ICE

No church at Good Hope tomorrow due to ice on parking lot & extreme
cold conditions. Next Sunday, Feb 8th, we will have a brief Sunday School session and then go as a group to worship with our brothers & sisters at Pleasant Union Baptist. Bro. Al will be peaching.
On Feb 15th, immediately after the morning worship service, we will
have a farewell pot luck dinner for Bro Gerald, Shelia & Mrs Ival and a time of fellowship.
