On this day of remembrance to and for our mothers, give thanks also to the obedience of the Lords earthly mother, Mary. To remember her immediate resolve and willingness to please her Heavenly Father and taking on the responsibility and faith to parent the Savior. A woman blessed among women. Would that we can look on her example as a call to closeness with our Lord and Savior. Happy Mothers Day Everyday, for all who Choose to honor God with caring for and the blessing of children, all the children you've been blessed to love.

What happened on Resurrection Day?

After the completion of Passion Week comes the greatest day of them all: the day Jesus victoriously rose from the dead!

Early in the morning, the women went to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus with their spices and perfumes. However, there was a large earthquake and the stone is rolled away by an angel. The guards are terrified and fall over like dead men. The angel tells the women to go tell the disciples that Jesus is risen.

Jesus appeared to many people that day, including 500 people at the same time. He appeared to Mary Magdalene, Peter and the disciples, along with His brother James and others. He even shows them His hands and His side to prove that He has risen from the dead. Even doubting Thomas falls on his knees and says "My Lord and my God" when seeing this evidence.

Now that Jesus has risen from the dead, we can have salvation in His name. Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, and He rose from the dead so that we can live again with Him. As Jesus proclaimed: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall He live."

The Lord is risen, indeed!

Devotional: “On the Third Day—Hope Rose Too”

There is something deeply personal about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He didn’t just die for the world—He died for you. For your burdens, your hidden hurts, your questions, your fears. And when He rose again on the third day, He didn’t just conquer the grave—He made a way for you to rise too.

As women, we often carry so much—responsibilities, emotions, expectations. Some days feel heavy, like the stone that sealed the tomb. But the resurrection reminds us that no stone is too heavy for God to move. No situation is too far gone. No heart is too broken to be restored.

When the women came to the tomb, expecting sorrow, they were met with a life-changing question from the angel:
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:5–6)

In that moment, grief was interrupted by glory. What they thought was the end was only the beginning.

On that third day, everything changed. Darkness gave way to light. Despair turned into hope. And death was defeated forever. That same resurrection power is still alive today—working in your life, even when you can’t yet see it.

So when you feel weary, remember: Sunday is coming.
When you feel unseen, remember: He sees you.
When you feel defeated, remember: He already won.

You are loved, redeemed, and never alone.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6

Take heart today—you serve a risen Savior, and because He lives, hope lives in you too.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude and remembrance.
Thank You for the precious gift of my beloved spouse, WT.
One year ago today, he passed from this life, and though I still feel the ache of his absence, I am so thankful for every moment we shared.

Thank You for his love, his presence, and the ways he blessed my life.
Thank You for the memories that still live in my heart and for the bond we shared that time cannot erase.

Lord, I trust that WT is now in Your loving care, surrounded by Your peace and light.
Please continue to comfort me as I walk through this life without him by my side.
Strengthen me each day, and help me to carry forward the love we shared.

Remind me, Father, that this is not the end, but only a separation for a time.
Hold WT close until the day we are reunited in Your eternal presence.

Thank You for the gift of his life, and for Your promise of everlasting life.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Good evening my sisters and brothers in Christ. It seems to me that Christians are being attacked by Satans' arrows on overtime lately. Sickness, death, financial, emotional, disappointments and fear......and thats just my life. lol. I just wanted to give a word of comfort and encourage you to hold tightly to the hem of His garment with the faith that the woman with the issue of blood had......expecting the miracle. I shared with someone recently that during the darkest days of my life this past year with the death of my beloved husband, that in the moments when I could bare no more, I turned my face to the wall while In my bed like King Hezakiah did. I lay so close to the wall that I could feel the coldness of the wall on my body and my breath bouncing back at me as I cried and poured my heart out to the only person who could help me. Jesus. My Savior. My King. My friend. I have come to understand that He will never leave me nor forsake me. His Grace is sufficient. I must endure to the end. With Him. You can too. Dont give up or give in. We are His soldiers and He will lead. I promise

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

I love you all and want to testify to you this day, that Gods Grace is sufficient and as you go through the deep waters that face each of us, He is there . He cares for you. You are never alone.
