God is a God of new beginnings.

If we want
to experience
all God has
in store for us,
we have
to be willing
to step out
into the new thing
God is doing.

It won't always be easy.

It won't always make sense.

It won't always be our first choice.

And it won’t always be familiar.

When God
is doing
a new thing,
don’t expect it
to look
like the old.

It will
be different,
sometimes
completely different -
but it
WILL be
the very step
we need
to take,
to arrive
at the very place
we need
to be,
to fulfill
the very thing
God desires
to do
in us,
for us,
and through us.

Don't be afraid to step out into "new".

The One
who is calling
you forward

January is Sanctity of Human Life month.

Sanctity-"the state or quality of being holy, sacred, or saintly."

We believe that God created life, and we should esteem life from the moment of conception; that our life doesn't hold more or less value than any other. We also believe that we are sometimes called to sacrifice our own desires, comfort and pleasures for the welfare of others.

Most think that abortion is used mostly for health reasons and to save the life of the mother when, in fact, 95.9% of abortions are for non-medical reasons. Fear, anxiety, finances, strained relationships, etc can all play into a person's choice to abort but these reasons don't take away the value and sacredness of the person who is being sacrificed through fear, pressure, or other circumstances. Love is messy, but is also truthful. It is not wrong to have the feelings that come with an unplanned pregnancy, however to act on those feelings and terminate a life denies God's sovereignty and robs parents of the unexpected ways He can work all things for good to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

Abundant blessings to everyone who finds themselves wrestling with an unplanned pregnancy and pushes through all your struggles and fears to either parent or place your babies into the hands of another family through adoption. May you see the hand of God upon your life.

My truth is not different from your truth. Our 'truths' are imperfect beliefs that don't always line up 100% with the the author and creator of the truth, the Alpha and Omega, God of the universe

Either the Bible
is God's
unchanging word,
or it isn't.

There is no middle ground.

"Did God really say . . ."
~Genesis 3:1

It's a question
as old as time
designed
by the Deceiver
to cause you and I
to question
all that God
would declare
to be truth.

And what
you and I often
fail to remember
is this:

Truth isn't truth
because we agree with it.

And truth isn't truth
because we don't.

Truth is truth
because it is truth.

God's truth.

Plain and simple.

Period.

It's in the questioning
of truth
that we start
to go off course.

It's in the
"did God really say"
moments
that we start
to slide down
the slippery slope
of sin.

God said what He said.

And you and me,
we have
only two choices.

We either
believe it as truth
or we reject it.

What we can't do
is change
the truth of
God's word
to line up with
the truth
we want it to be.

Once we change truth,
it is no longer
God's truth.

It's just not.

Now it is simply
us deciding
whatever we
want truth to be.

And when
we choose
to walk
in our own truth
and not His,
we have stopped
walking in truth -
period.

Now
we are walking
in deception -
fooling our self
into thinking
we are walking
in truth.

We don't get
to decide truth.

Our only decision
is whether
we are going
to walk in it -
