Individuals in need of food can obtain lunch bags containing a full meal, as well as personal care products, new blanket, socks, diapers, new baby blanket, baby formula, among other essentials, once a week or as needed. We also put a “free” table inside the ministry with a variety of different items (Tuesdays & Thursdays Noon-4pm)
For monetary donations, please send checks payable to GPS Ministries Inc. to PO Box 42, Camp Point, IL 62320. Additional information can be found on our website at www.gpsministriesinc.org. We kindly request that you share this information with those in need. 😢 Help turn tears 😭 into joy! 🤣
Hunger, rejection, and isolation hurts everyone that’s in need! We need to give our love and encouragement, not ridicule and judge.
Many people will say, they need to get a job. Some of the clients that come into our ministry are working more than one job. Some clients are struggling just to keep a roof over their head; while trying to secure food to feed their children. Some families only have one vehicle, and it is a real challenge to keep gas in it. How about the senior on a fixed income that accidentally forgot to sign up for food stamps? What about a veteran that has extremely difficult health problems and is homebound?
We need to reach out and make a difference.
If we were in their shoes, wouldn’t we want someone to help us? It could even be your next door neighbor needing a friend. It could be you. Let’s all do our part to reach out to those falling between the cracks. At GPS Ministries we are doing our best to stop the pain of hunger, isolation and rejection. We’re here to love like Jesus, feed and serve those in need through our free lunch bag program, and do so much more. Won’t you join us and give now. Have you just moved out and renting your very first apartment? Adults ages 18-22 yrs.

Camp Point, IL offers a convenient summer meal solution, available Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon to 4:00 pm, where children can collect or parents can pick up a full meal in a bag for them, extending the blessing to all household members.
