These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. - Colossians 2:17

The Bible is not a collection of disconnected stories, but one unified story authored by one sovereign God. From Genesis to Malachi, the Old Testament lays a rich foundation of promises, patterns, and prophecies that foreshadow and find their ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

In this series, One God; One Story, we will trace some redemptive shadows that run through the Old Testament - like Kinsman Redeemer, Promised Land, Bronze Serpent, and Mountain of the Lord - and how the substance of each ultimately belongs to Christ.

This series, done in collaboration with our good friends at Midtown Community Church and Community Evangelical Free Church, will deepen your confidence in the unity of God’s Word, strengthen your understanding of the gospel, and stir you to worship as you behold the glory of Jesus revealed in all of Scripture.
