Please note the following upcoming cemetery clean-off dates at Rolling Green Cemetery:

•📌February Clean-Off: February 23–27, 2026 – WEATHER PERMITTING
‼️ Complete clean-off. All items inside and outside of vases will be removed.
• Easter Clean-Off: April 13–17, 2026
Only items placed outside of vases will be removed.
• Mother’s Day & Memorial Day Clean-Off: June 1–5, 2026
Only items placed outside of vases will be removed.
• Fall Clean-Off: October 15–23, 2026
Complete clean-off. All items inside and outside of vases will be removed.
• Holiday Decorations:
Holiday decorations may begin to be placed November 15, 2026.

Happy Fasnacht Day from Rolling Green Cemetery! 🍩

Today (February 17, 2026) is Fasnacht Day—our beloved Pennsylvania Dutch tradition on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Lent.

Brought by German immigrants centuries ago, families fried up rich, potato-based donuts (fasnachts) to use every last bit of lard, butter, sugar, and eggs before the Lenten fast. It's Pennsylvania's sweet take on "Fat Tuesday"—dense, delicious, and often enjoyed plain, powdered, or with molasses!

Like this old staple of PA heritage, Rolling Green Cemetery (founded in 1929 in Camp Hill) has been a longstanding part of central Pennsylvania life—serving families with dignity and care through generations of traditions and transitions.

Grab some fasnachts from a local bakery or church fundraiser today—whether plain or powdered, they're the perfect pre-Lent treat! What's your favorite way to enjoy one? 🍩

Fun Fact: Rolling Green Cemetery has been a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce since 1948!

Two of our Family Service Counselors, Cheyenne and Brittany, had the opportunity to speak with other local businesses in the West Shore, bringing light to who we are and our mission in assisting families before, during, and after end-of-life arrangements.
