Love each other boldly. Your relationship with God shows in your life. You don't have to preach on street corners. You don't have to force your beliefs on others. But you never know when loving others the way Christ loves will change a life.

God Still Calls

📖 Scripture:
“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14-16, NRSV

💡 Reflection:
God may not call you to stand on a street corner and preach, but God still calls. God sends ordinary people into homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, churches, and communities to share the love of Jesus with a world that is longing for hope, compassion, and grace.

🙏 Prayer:
God, thank you that you still call ordinary people to share your extraordinary love. Send me into the world with courage, compassion, and faith. Help me love boldly wherever you place me. Amen.

💡 Practice:
Before the day ends, ask yourself: “Where did God give me an opportunity to love boldly today?” Thank God for that moment, and ask for courage to keep saying yes.

God still calls ordinary people to share extraordinary love. You may not be called to preach on a street corner, but you are called to love boldly wherever God has placed you. There is a world of people longing for the hope and love found in Jesus.

“We cannot keep from speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
Acts 4:20 NRSV

We Learn Bold Love by Following Jesus

📖 Scripture:
“But Peter and John answered them, ‘Whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge; for we cannot keep from speaking about what we have seen and heard.’” Acts 4:19-20, NRSV

💡 Reflection:
Peter and John learned to love boldly by following Jesus. The same is true for us. As we spend time with Jesus in prayer, Scripture, worship, fellowship, and service, his love begins to shape us, strengthen us, and overflow through the way we live.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me follow you closely. Shape my heart through prayer, Scripture, worship, and service. Let my life reflect your love so clearly that others can see you through me. Amen.

➡️ Practice:
Spend 10 quiet minutes with Jesus today. Read Acts 4:19-20 slowly. Ask, “Jesus, what have I seen and heard from you that I need to share through my words or actions?”

Ordinary People, Extraordinary Boldness

📖 Scripture:
“But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong.” 1 Corinthians 1:27-28, NRSV

💡 Reflection:
It is easy to believe God uses people who are more educated, experienced, confident, or qualified than we are. But Peter and John remind us that God gives ordinary people extraordinary boldness through the Holy Spirit. Do not underestimate what God can do in and through a life that is open to him.

🙏 Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill me with courage. When I feel unqualified, remind me that you are enough. Use my life, my story, my gifts, and even my weakness for your glory. Help me trust what you can do through me. Amen.

➡️ Practice:
Write down one excuse you often give for why God cannot use you. Then write this truth beside it: “The Holy Spirit gives ordinary people extraordinary boldness.”

Do not underestimate what God can do in and through you. God has always chosen ordinary, overlooked, imperfect people to do extraordinary things through the power of the Holy Spirit.

“But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong.”
1 Corinthians 1:27 NRSV
