Journey to the Cross — Easter Sunday
The world went to sleep, assuming death had done what death always does. But on Easter morning- the tomb was empty! Up from the grave he arose!
This is not just a story we remember once a year. This is the truth we NEED to live by every single day. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture points to a Savior who would defeat Satan and redeem us. Because Jesus lives, sin no longer has the final say. Death is no longer the end. And hope is no longer just a wish—it is real, alive, and unshakable. All of our sin—the very worst parts of us—were placed on Jesus. The punishment meant for us was poured out on Him, and the healing we could never earn was made possible through the wounds He carried for us.
The Bible reminds us:
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.” — Matthew 28:6
The same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive in us (Romans 8:11).
By His wounds, we are healed and redeemed (Isaiah 53:5).
The resurrection is our assurance that His sacrifice was enough, that sin has been broken and death has been overcome. That our past is no longer held hostage by sin. That our fear has no authority over our future. That our suffering is not empty or wasted. That even death itself has an expiration date.
And the resurrection doesn’t just change Easter Sunday… it changes EVERYTHING.
We must now walk into each day trusting the One who has already overcome the worst evil could do. We must pray differently—not into silence, but to a living Savior who hears us. Easter morning didn’t just continue the story of the world—it transformed it. Our journey to the cross may be complete… but our journey toward heaven has only just begun.
So let’s not rush past this moment.
Let’s live in it.
Every day is an opportunity to live like it’s Easter Sunday—lifting our voices in praise,
thanking God for our redemption,
and boldly sharing the good news:
He has risen.
We are saved.
So today, as we step into Resurrection Sunday,
we don’t stay silent—we declare it:
Jesus is alive!
And because He lives… we can face tomorrow!
He is risen indeed! ✝️
