Camdenton Church of Christ

Camdenton Church of Christ One Lord, one faith, one baptism. Camdenton church of Christ welcomes all visitors to our worship. It was necessary, after a time, to find another meeting place.

In April of 1968, on the first day of the week, the Church of Christ in Camdenton met for the first time. The Church met in the American Legion Hall, and there were thirty-two members for that first worship service forty-four years ago. The Church started meeting at the Derby Station Building on Five South, and they met there for several months. It was during this time that the first elders and de

acons were appointed. Generous contributions from Church members and the financial support from the Church in Morrilton, Arkansas, allowed the Church to purchase land on Highway 5 South. Construction began in July 1970, on the building in which we worship today. The first meeting in the new building was on January 3rd, 1971. Sixty-five people came together in the basement of this building to worship God. What a wonderful and happy day it was! In 1977, the main auditorium was completed and services were moved upstairs! To date the record attendance has been 180. Let us all thank God for our growth in the past and pray that we shall continue to bear fruit for Christ.
