If you missed Thursday night you missed out. Drew Gill Fishing was awesome as usual. And thanks to our awesome volunteers the night was streamed & recorded so you can still get the juice from Drew.
But……. The most exciting part was the 9 men who indicated that they put their faith & trust in Jesus as their Lord & Savior.
See, here’s the deal. We hope you come enjoy a free meal. We hope you come & increase your knowledge & confidence in hunting, fishing or whatever topic our guest speaks on. We hope that you win an awesome door prize that you successfully get to enjoy. We really fo hope all those things gor you.
But we PRAY that you get closer to Jesus. As Drew spoke of, you can function in the default settings of your boat’s electronics & get by or you can dig in, learn about them in a deeper way & flourish. Likewise you can make it through the life at elementary level and get by, or you can flourish by digging deeper & pursuing Jesus in a greater way.

What we celebrate on this occasion is the single greatest gift ever given to mankind. The gift of love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, redemption, and salvation. That is exactly what receiving the gift of Jesus means. All that and more.

We’re having Pursuit Thursday night at Missionary Grove Baptist Church! Come out, hang out, eat, fellowship, win some prizes & more! Free meal at 6pm. Dustin Perkins will be speaking. He’s a very accomplished outdoorsman from down in Hardin Co & a good friend. He’ll share things from his outdoor experiences & his faith that will better equip you to be successful not only in the outdoors, but in life. Come on! Bring a friend! Please share!

Today we offer a special thank you to the ones who made a decision to defend this great country and our freedoms. Veterans Days is a wonderful opportunity to express the gratitude that we should express daily. We thank you and appreciate you and your service!

Today we remember the innocent victims, the first responders, the families that lost loved ones as well as the way this tragic event felt as Americans. The way we felt as we watched our country come under attack from terrorists who hate our freedom. We also remember that as a country we put our differences aside & prayed together. We wept together. We worked together. And we realized that our brothers, sisters & neighbors were not our enemy.
We’re in new era in our nation where division abounds between everyone & has infiltrated communities, friendships & families. If only we could truly remember what we learned on 9/11/01 and come together again and pursue unity.

For our Tennessee and Kentucky friends, planting time is now! WMS Brassica Blend consists of selected forage r**e, diakon radish, turnips, and kale. Unlike other brassica type mixes, WMS Brassica Blend is formulated to provide early forage as well as late season cold weather forage. This blend will keep your deer coming from early bow season through the last day of deer season.
