Generous benefactors of the Diocese– whose faithful support truly makes the Church visible in South Jersey – gathered for an evening of fellowship Nov. 18.

Hundreds enjoyed dinner and fellowship at The Forum Banquet Hall, after which seven leadership donors were inducted into the Society of Seraphim – those who have given $50,000 or more to diocesan fundraising efforts in the last fiscal year. Two benefactors were welcomed as Stewards of Saint Katharine Drexel – those who have given $100,000 or more.

Bishop Joseph Williams sent a video message expressing his gratitude to all diocesan benefactors, as he was representing the Diocese at the Mass of Welcome for the newly named coadjutor archbishop of New Orleans, Archbishop James Checchio – a Camden priest.

On behalf of Bishop Williams, Father Jon Thomas, Vicar General, welcomed the new members of the giving societies, noting, “Your gifts empower vital ministries – from Catholic schools to charitable outreach – and build a legacy of love, service and generosity. Thank you for all you do!”

As the summer season kicks off at the Jersey shore, remember to support the South Jersey Catholic Ministries Appeal. Nine of our shore parishes are just launching their appeals as the population increases for summer. To learn more about the SJCMA, please visit https://www.camdendiocese.org/sjcma/

This summer, if you are vacationing in the South Jersey shore area, you are welcome to attend Mass, prayer services, or simply visit a number of churches located in Atlantic and Cape May counties.

Even on vacation, God invites us to celebrate with Him! All are welcome to visit and worship in many parishes who have added Mass times to their weekend schedules to accommodate visitors.

There are great professionals. There are great Catholic professionals. And then there’s Stacy Napolitano—a powerhouse in Catholic fundraising and the Director of Development for the Diocese of Camden. Stacy has built a top-tier team that drives the success of critical ministries and services at both the diocesan and parish levels.

Known for her warmth, energy, and visionary leadership, Stacy has spearheaded major campaigns like the South Jersey Catholic Ministries Appeal and the Spring Sprint for Scholarships, both of which continue to make a transformative impact across South Jersey. Outside the office, she’s just as dynamic—playing a key role in reviving the Catholic Business Network of South Jersey, connecting Catholic professionals for prayer, fellowship, and the exchange of best practices.

With the 2025 South Jersey Catholic Ministries Appeal just six weeks underway, the campaign has already brought in an impressive $3 million to support diocesan and parish ministries. Learn more or donate at: www.camdendiocese.org/sjcma.
