CLAYTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS HOSTS COMMUNITY FOOD MARKET TO SUPPORT LOCAL FAMILIES
Jonesboro, GA — Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to announce upcoming Community Food Market events designed to provide essential grocery items at no cost to students, families, and community members. These events reinforce the district’s commitment to supporting the whole child and strengthening community wellness.
The Community Food Market will be held at the following dates, times, and locations:
Sequoyah Middle School
November 6, 2025 • 3:30 PM
95 Valley Hill Road
Riverdale, GA 30274
Rex Mill Middle School
November 12, 2025 • 4:00 PM
6380 Evans Drive
Rex, GA 30273
Through these events, CCPS aims to reduce food insecurity by offering families access to fresh produce and pantry staples. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
“These events reflect CCPS’s ongoing dedication to meeting the needs of our scholars and their families,” said district leaders. “Ensuring families have access to basic resources is essential to fostering academic success and personal well-being.”
The Community Food Markets are free and open to CCPS families and residents.
