Faith isn’t wishful thinking or blind optimism. It’s a quiet confidence rooted in who God is. When you truly believe that God will—not just that He can—your heart finds peace even before the answer comes.

It doesn’t mean the path will always be easy or unfold the way you expect, but it means you trust that God is already working things out for your good. Real faith rests, even while waiting.

Thank you, God, for finding me.
Thank you, God, for saving me.
Thank you, God, for giving me hope.

For reaching me when I was lost,
when I didn’t even know where I was going,
when I felt far, disconnected, unsure —
You still came after me.

For saving me in ways I didn’t always notice.
From situations that could have broken me,
from paths that weren’t meant for me,
from myself, at times, when I couldn’t see clearly.

For giving me hope when I felt empty.
When everything seemed uncertain,
when the future felt unclear,
when I didn’t know how things would turn out —
You reminded me there is always more ahead.

Hope that things can change.
Hope that I can grow.
Hope that no matter what I’ve been through,
my story is not over.

You didn’t give up on me.
You didn’t walk away.

And for that…
I will always be grateful.

Thank you, God —
for finding me,
for saving me,
and for giving me a hope
that never runs out.

Seed of Encouragement
Always be mindful to let go of offenses and be willing to forgive. God established a connection between what He expects us to do and what He does. If we forgive others, He will forgive us. Choosing not to forgive someone is a dangerous choice to make. We cut ourselves off from receiving God’s forgiveness when we refuse to do our part of forgiving others. This perspective helps us to see that forgiving is more for the forgiver, than it is for the ones we are extending forgiveness to.

If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done. Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭

May 1st 🤍🙌 A new beginning… a reminder that no matter what April looked like, you’re still here — and that means God isn’t finished with your story. Whatever felt heavy, confusing, or overwhelming… you don’t have to carry it into this new month. You’re allowed to release it. You’re allowed to begin again. This is your sign to step into May with a different mindset: More peace. More faith. Less overthinking. Less fear. You made it through things you once cried about. You survived moments you didn’t think you would. And somehow, you’re still standing. That’s not luck… that’s grace. So today, we don’t stress about what we can’t control. We don’t dwell on what didn’t work out. We don’t question what God is already working behind the scenes. We trust. We breathe. We reset. “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11 A prayer for May 🤍 God, thank You for allowing me to see a new month. Thank You for every lesson, every closed door, and every moment that brought me closer to who I’m becoming. As I step into May, I ask for peace over my mind, clarity in my decisions, and strength for whatever comes my way. Remove anything that no longer aligns with Your purpose for me, and replace it with what is meant for me. Help me to trust Your timing, even when I don’t understand it. Let this month be filled with growth, healing, and unexpected blessings. Amen. ✨ May is going to feel different… in the best way. 💫

Heavenly Father, How thankful we are that You have set us free from all fear and anxiety, and gave us Your peace. You said, fear not for I am the first and the last, I am He who was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys to hell, death, and the grave. We’re thankful for that, and with the assurance of it from Your word, we look forward to what the future holds.
On this Tuesday morning, I want to ask for Your healing touch for all of Your people around the world. Heal whatever You see that needs healing in their life, be it physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual. Set everyone who reads this free from any fear or anxiety, that may be lingering, and give them Your peace. Help all of us to be a blessing to others today, as the Holy Spirit leads our way. In Jesus name we do pray, Amen…

I want to share some exciting news with my friends and family. I have been named pastor at Faith Church!! Just another testimony of the great power of Jesus to transform a drug addict into a pastor. All glory and honor belongs to Jesus! I want to thank Jesus for saving my life and bringing me into this position. Thank you pastor Jerry Ables and Elaine Ables for all your guidance teaching and support. Also thank you my entire Victory Church family. Thank you to my new family at Faith church. Me and Cynthia are so very excited to lead this great church where the lord wants it to go. Praise God!!

1 John 5:5. I want you to understand today where all the power over everything in this world comes from. Jesus!! When you belive that Jesus is the son of God. When you belive that Jesus is God almighty revealed to us. When you believe that Jesus is the way and the path to God. You now have power to overcome the world. Yeah there are some hard battles we face in this world. But our belief and faith in Jesus will cause us to overcome every battle. When we believe in who Jesus truly is we overcome addiction. We overcome sickness. We overcome fear, anxiety, depression, and heartbreak. Jesus is so very powerful. Just believing in him gives you power to overcome. So whatever you’re facing today. If your faith is in Jesus you are going to overcome. Say it out loud. Say I AM AN OVERCOMER!! You are going to come out on top. You are going to win. The enemy cannot defeat you. Praise the holy mighty Lord Jesus!! For this overcoming power.
