Harleigh Cemetery, est. 1885, is a beautiful Victorian setting on 150 acres with three lakes, rolling hills, mature foliage, and lush grounds. Harleigh is currently the resting place of Walt Whitman and over 300 civil war veterans and is Camden County's most exclusive gated community. We are in the business to serve families, one at a time, in the communities around our cemetery, by educating and guiding each person with the importance of pre-planning.

A Message from Louis Cicalese, Cemetery President of the Board of Trustees:

As flags are placed across the Camden County Veterans Cemetery this season, I am reminded of the profound responsibility we hold. It has been the highest honor of my career to serve our veterans, their families, and our community. Our mission has always been to ensure that those who served are laid to rest with the dignity and respect they earned. To honor that legacy, we are deeply invested in the continuous design and development of our grounds. We are currently working on new mausoleums, dedicated cremation niches, and an expanded veterans' graves section. Our goal is to ensure that the Camden County Veterans Cemetery remains a lasting place of beauty, reflection, and reverence for generations to come. Thank you to the volunteers, families, and community members who help us honor our heroes every day.

We are honored to salute the brave men and women who devoted their lives to defending America's freedom.
