Battleship New Jersey under full power, September 1943. She was designed for a top speed of 33 knots, or 38 mph. Famously, Battleship New Jersey would later set the speed record for battleships during her Vietnam-era sea trials, hitting 35.2 knots, or roughly 40 mph. Not bad for such a big ship. Today, guests can explore one of the engine rooms that made setting the record possible.

My sister and I had a great time at the P.A.C.C. Polish American Citizens' Club of Camden County, NJ picnic. The weather was perfect! We enjoyed the great music and food, and spent time with our friends and their families from St. Joseph's (Polish) Roman Catholic Church.

For some reason it wasn’t letting post this on Facebook yesterday.

Mass was celebrated by Father Stephen Robbins, and sadly, he announced that he has been reassigned by Bishop Williams to serve in Mullica Hill and the Woodstown area at the Parish of the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit.

We will greatly miss his presence at Saint St. Joseph's (Polish) Roman Catholic Church and at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. He is a wonderful young priest, with great reverence serving Our Lord and his flock. His joyful and happy, loving spirit will be missed by all in Camden and the surrounding area.

We wish Fr. Stephen Robbins Blessings and Best Wishes as he continues in the Lord’s Path and preaching the Holy Gospel! God Bless You Fr. Stephen Robbins Always!!!
