What a beautiful blessing our Eucharistic Procession was this Corpus Christi Sunday. It was a joy to see so many of our parish family join us, walk with us, and lift their hearts in prayer. A special thank‑you to our children’s choir, who followed the procession and sang with such innocence and beauty — their voices truly made the morning feel like a little glimpse of heaven.

So grateful for a parish that walks with Christ, loves the Eucharist, and shows up with such faith and joy. Have a blessed week.

In John 6:51-58 Jesus reminds us that unless we drink his blood and eat his body, we do not have eternal life. Let us celebrate this precious gift of holy communion.

En Juan 6:51-58, Jesús nos recuerda que, a menos que bebamos su sangre y comamos su cuerpo, no tenemos vida eterna. Celebremos este precioso don de la Santa Comunión.

In most dioceses of the United States, the Church will celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi this year on Sunday, June 7, following the traditional rhythm of the calendar shortly after Trinity Sunday. The feast, instituted in 1264 by Pope Urban IV, highlights the Church’s faith in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. “Corpus Christi” is Latin for “Body of Christ,” drawing our attention to Christ truly present under the appearances of bread and wine.
Throughout history, deep devotion to Christ in the Blessed Sacrament has marked the lives of the saints; by following their example, we too can grow in love for Jesus present in the Eucharist and strengthen our friendship with him through his Body and Blood.

Celebrating St. Francis Caracciolo who let the Eucharist be the heartbeat of his life, finding strength, humility, and joy in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Day 3 of Camp Catechism

Today our children discover the beautiful story of Saint Benedict and Saint Scholastica—a brother and sister whose deep faith and love for God shaped the Church for centuries.

May their example remind us that holiness often begins at home, in the love shared between family members and the prayers we offer for one another.

Happy Wednesday, OLPH family!

As we move through the week, let’s pause and remember that God is already ahead of us—preparing the grace we need, the strength we’ll rely on, and the peace our hearts long for.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation.” — Psalm 27:1

If you need a moment of prayer today, stop by the church, light a candle, or simply whisper a quiet “Jesus, I trust in You.”

We’re praying for you.
