Upcoming events over the next few weeks include a talk on the Sermon on the Mount and a Quarterly Meeting presentation on the Pine Barrens.

On the second Sunday of every month we stay after worship to discuss everything from finances to property needs to upcoming events. Visitors are welcome to participate and see Quaker process in action! Email me with any agenda items.

Given the rather frigid and snowy forecast for this coming Sunday, we’ve decided it’d be best for everyone to stay warm at home. We won’t be opening the meetinghouse for worship. Thanks, and hope to see you all the following Sunday!

About fifty people came to Cropwell Meeting yesterday to hear the give a wonderful holiday concert and lead us in some of the most beloved Christmas songs.

No Cropwell worship today. Given the snow and sleet we feel everyone should stay nice and safe at home today and will not be opening for worship. Enjoy our snow day!

Our doors have been opening every Sunday morning at 10am for more than 200 years now. For an hour or so whoever shows up becomes part of a spiritual communion, an ad hoc church of seekers. We start in silence to center ourselves from the noisiness of the world and listen together for quiet prompts from the eternal. Come share our search tomorrow.

Around 30 people came to Cropwell Meeting this last week to hear Quaker peace activist and storyteller George Lakey talk about his long work on civil rights, nonviolence, and environmental activism. He came with stories of societies that were able to make changes and mapped out a path forward for the U.S.
