Morning Manner
As I awakened this morning, I got the glory. I also am thinking about my trials and triumph.
I passed a church for 30 years and I would see more people leaving than more people staying. I could never understand the meaning of this, but it broke my heart to know that I was trying to help someone that did not want my help. We cannot make those that are not assigned to us be assigned. This is where I get my topic today.
Help or hindrance
Men and women of God, we must pray hard for discernment that God might show us who is there to help us and who is there to hinder us when you look at the life of Jesus, we know that he had many hinders. We know that peters broke out of turn I confessing that he would never let Jesus go to the Cross Jesus had to rebuke Peter because that would have been a hindrance to the salvation of mankind
And this is why he commanded Peter not really Peter, but the spirit that was working in Peter to get behind him
Now we move onto a disciple that walk with Jesus, all of his ministerial life only to be there to hinder his work. Judas the betrayer he was never part of Jesus assignment.
The Bible describes him as the son of perdition.
Meaning he was never a part of the plan
Sometimes you have to step back to see forward because you’re up too close to recognize that you are being hinder from the assignment
There are even those that will walk up real close because if you take the characteristics of a snake, he doesn’t bite you from a far off he waits so he get close enough to launch out to inject his poison into your system. That will kill you.
I did not recognize it at first, but there are people that have snake like behavior. I had a snake in my church and I never recognize it. It was charming me helping me just long enough so that I could let down my guard and he could bite me, but the venom did not pe*****te because God had already showed me that’s a snake.
Remember people of God it was a snake in the garden in the first place that deceived mankind and caused him to fall from Grace
