🏷FOR SALE

We have several beautiful vintage antique pieces for sale. The first set is an art deco highboy dresser and matching short table. Two very unique items in very good condition. The second set includes two end/side tables. Both of these items need a little love in the form of sandpaper, stain, and varnish, but would make a stunning addition to your home (or forget the love and enjoy them slightly used).

All items are at the church, and we are hoping to get rid of them sooner rather than later. You can call Ron Russo for more information (731.418.9851) or stop by the church to see them.

Thank you to everyone who helped give Father Herbert and Father Michael a proper send off. We wish them the very best and will continue to pray for them. We appreciate everything they have done for St. Mary's.

Father Scott Bahrke has been appointed to St. Mary (Camden) and Holy Family Mission (Huntingdon). He starts July 1, 2026. We are excited to welcome him to our parish and community.

Father Herbert will be in-residence at St. Philip the Apostle (Somerville) and Father Michael is appointed to Our Lady of Sorrows/Ascension.
St. Mary will be hosting a farewell reception for them on June 21 immediately following Mass. All are invited to attend.

Please continue to pray for all our priests and clergy.

As our Diocese shared yesterday, Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), which Bishop David P. Talley and Bishop Emeritus J. Terry Steib are members, sent out the following information:

“Today, May 25, Pope Leo XIV released his first encyclical letter, Magnifica Humanitas (Magnificent Humanity), focused on safeguarding the human person in an age of artificial intelligence.

The Holy Father writes on the inviolable dignity of every person, the call to remain profoundly human in an era of rapid technological change, and the moral imperative for technology to serve peace and the common good.”
