Mazal tov to IJSC alumni & on their wedding!

Rabbi Berel had the honor of officiating this truly special wedding. Alex and Laura were both deeply involved in the IJSC community during their time in Boston, and it was incredibly meaningful to see two such wonderful people build their home together.

The wedding was spectacular from start to finish. Wishing them a lifetime of love, joy, and blessings. Big Mazal Tov to their siblings alumni & & future IJSC member . their parents Laurent & Katia, Michel & Samantha 💙

Last night at IJSC, 40 international students gathered for an intimate Melave Malka dinner with two remarkable guests — released hostages Sasha Troufanov & his fiancée Sapir Cohen.

They spoke about surviving the darkness of Gaza’s tunnels and how, even there, they never stopped believing.
“We prayed every day,” they said. “That connection kept us alive.”

One student shared after the event:

“Hearing from Sasha and Sapir was one of the most powerful things I’ve ever witnessed. It’s hard to imagine what they endured, but their faith stood out most. It’s a reminder that no matter how deep the tunnel feels, faith can still be the light that gets us through.”

A night of courage, faith, and hope. One we’ll never forget. 💛
