What an example he is for us all!

Recently, our long time parishioner Aram Hintlian traveled to Armenia with his older daughter Ali Hintlian to visit the four young people he and his wife Becky have sponsored for more than a dozen years.

Through Aram’s efforts, the lives of four young adults have been forever positively transformed… it’s about living out our faith and using our gifts in ways that will benefit others and better the lives of others even half a world away.

Today during fellowship hour long time parishioner George Bagdasarian was celebrated on his special birthday!
George was surprised and surrounded by his family and relatives from as far away as Los Angeles, CA. Tributes, song, and remarks throughout the fellowship paid witness to the love George and his family enjoy within the Holy Trinity parish.
George is a former Parish Council member, teacher in our Sunday School, and faithful weekly attendee of our church services.
We thank George’s wife Armine, and her family for hosting today’s fellowship hour in his honor. May God grant George and his family many more happy, healthy years ahead!

What a beautiful evening under the stars!

Parents of our Armenian and Sunday Schools gathered tonight for fellowship and food on our new Malkasian Plaza, a wonderful opportunity to get to know one another better in a relaxing social setting.
Our hope is for similar gatherings in future months reaching the four corners of our parish family.
Thank you to Yn. Arpi Kouzouian, Christina & Antranig Mardiros, and Ani & Garo Mikaelian for all the planning and preparations. It was a fabulous evening enjoyed by all!

50 years and one day…
Today Diran and Seta Apelian stood before the altar of Holy Trinity surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and extended family members renewing their 50 year marriage commitment and seeking blessings for the next 50 years.
May the Holy Spirit bless this beautiful couple with a long healthy life. Thank you to Teni Apelian & Roger Hajjar for arranging this special blessing!

Moments from today’s Blessing of Grapes on the Feast of the Assumption of St. Mary the Mother of God. We were blessed by the presence and words of the Very Rev Fr. Aghan Gogchyan, Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. We look forward to a return visit from Hayr Aghan when he’s next in the US.
The day ended with a lovely reception in the Charles and Nevart Talanian Cultural Hall hosted by the members of the Parish Council in honor of our guest celebrant Hayr Aghan. During the fellowship the talented Bernard Djevalikian presented a beautiful portrait of Fr. Mampre to our former pastor in appreciation of his many years of service to the parish.

Tomorrow, Sunday, August 16th, is the Feast of the Assumption of St. Mary, the Holy Mother of God. On this occasion we will Bless and distribute Grapes at the end of church services.
We are honored to have as our Guest Celebrant, The Very Rev. Fr. Aghan Vartabed Gogchyan, Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. We look forward to seeing you on this Major Feast Day of the Armenian Church.
