Sunday Mornings 10:00 am Willerup Church is the oldest Scandinavian Methodist Church in the world, founded in 1851 by Christian B. Willerup. We take our rich historic heritage and passion for God's Word and teach it in a relevant way to todays culture. Our Church is a close community of friends that simply 'Do Life' together, we don't look at this as a Sunday thing, it's a daily thing. We aren't perfect and we don't expect you to be either. Did you know that our programs can support your family and children at any age and stage of their faith?

💙 Willerup Kids is our Sunday children’s church held during service, kids enjoy worship in the sanctuary as a family and then will be released to learn the same lesson as mom and dad to help facilitate conversations around faith with family!

💙 AWANA is our 3K-5th grade after school Bible club held on Wednesdays from 3:15-5:30! Kids are invited to learn about the Bible stories, work on writing the verses on their heart, games, dress-up days and so much more! Sept 16 is the 2026-2027 kick-off!

💙 CREW is our youth program for 6th-12th grade students, held in the church basement during the school year on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30! Students share in a meal, games, and a teaching that will help support their walk with God, growing them into Christ followers and disciples!

No matter where you are in your walk with Jesus, we want to support you and your family! 🫶🏻

This is what a multi-generational church in a small town looks like! Many from our congregation took to Main Street to join in the community parade and we had an absolute blast!

53 from our congregation, 45 pounds of candy, 400 mini-Jesus, 5 bikes, 5 wagons, 3 scooters, 3 dogs, and so much joy! ☺️

Today was a beautiful reminder that the Church is never just one generation. There is something deeply holy about entrusting ministry side-by-side — believers encouraging younger ones, and younger believers stepping forward with faith, courage, and joy. This is more than volunteering. This is bonding in the Body of Christ. This is discipleship lived out together.

The future of the Church is not someday. It is already growing, serving, worshiping, learning, and leading among us.
“One generation shall commend Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.” — Psalm 145:4
May we never stop sharing faith, wisdom, courage, and love to those coming behind us. The Kingdom grows strongest when generations worship and serve together.
