Greetings. This Sunday we continue in the gospel of Matthew with the message
“When Faith Learns the Way of the Cross” from Matthew 16:21-28. In this passage, Jesus begins to show His disciples that the path to glory is through the cross, challenging our ideas of what it means to follow Him. We will see how true faith learns to let go of our own way, and embrace Christ’s way of sacrifice, obedience, and trust.
Sunday School 9:30 AM. Worship Service 10:30 AM. – In person or live on Facebook and FM radio 87.9 (within Cambridge city limits). All are welcome!

VBS-‘Flying High with Jesus’ was a combined effort of the Cambridge Lutheran and Methodist churches.
We were blessed with a wonderful turnout(despite a missed first day due to Mother Nature!).
Through lessons with Pastor Marcia, the children learned of God‘s creation of all things and his great unconditional love and care for us.
The lessons were reinforced with games, crafts, and music with Pastors Ferdinand and Sheryll Ann Marcos lending their musical talents.
We are deeply grateful to all who helped make this possible. From registering the kids, to providing meals, to prepping areas for games and crafts, and cleanup – all were appreciated.

It has been one year! One year since God brought you here to Shepherd our flock.
We have learned so much about each other. We have learned of culture, language, and food dishes from the Philippines.
We have observed your great love for the Lord, your love for us, and your tireless service.
You have experienced some of our favorite foods, your first winter in Iowa, and unfortunately- water in the parsonage and the church from unbelievable amounts of rain! 
You have done much traveling to attend meetings and conferences. I marveled at your quickness to dive right in & start driving yourself to places. I mentioned this to you and you told me “Well, we have GPS.” I had replied “Well still…”.Then you showed me a picture of bumper-to-bumper traffic in the Philippines and I understood!
There are not adequate words to describe our love and thankfulness for you. May God hold all of us safe in his hands. 🙏✝️❤️❤️❤️
