We hope to see you at 9 AM! This week we will move forward in time roughly 400 years. We have looked at the faith of the fathers up to the life of Joseph. By the end of Genesis, 70 people go down to Egypt with the promise of becoming a great nation and, one day, returning to the Promised Land. But after 400 years, a new king is in power and the people are enslaved. In this context, we are introduced to Moses, the next man that the author of Hebrews highlights for his faith. But what did Moses do that demonstrated his great faith? Why would the author choose the life of Moses to bring to his readers' attention? And how can we see the faith of Moses as being relevant to our own trials and temptations?
