PRAYING OVER OUR KIDS FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

A new school year means new classrooms, new teachers, new friends, new challenges, and new opportunities.

As our kids head back to school, let’s surround them with prayer. Let’s pray that they would be courageous when it’s hard, kind when it’s unpopular, wise when they have decisions to make, and bold enough to live out their faith wherever God places them.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.” — Isaiah 41:10

We pray over every student heading into a new school year.
Give them wisdom when they are learning, courage when they are challenged, and strength when they feel overwhelmed.

Protect them physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Surround them with good friends and teachers who encourage them.
Help them be a light to those around them, not by being perfect, but by showing kindness, grace, courage, and the love of Jesus.

When they feel alone, remind them that You are with them.
When they are afraid, remind them that they don't have to be afraid.
When they face difficult choices, help them choose what honors You.

And give parents wisdom, patience, and peace as they walk alongside their children.

Church, let's commit to praying for our students throughout this entire school year.
