Happy Labor Day, fam! 🙌🏾

Even good work needs a pause. Scripture gives us a picture of Jesus making room for rest, reminding us that stepping away doesn’t mean the work doesn’t matter. Sometimes, rest is exactly what we need to keep going well.

There’s wisdom in knowing when to step away, catch your breath, and make room to be refreshed.

Enjoy the day, Kingdom. Share this post and remind somebody today that rest is part of a healthy rhythm for life.🙏🏽

Happy Labor Day, fam! 🙌🏾

Today, we celebrate the hard work that keeps our families, communities, and workplaces moving forward.

We hope you get to take a real break, enjoy your people, and recharge because rest is part of how we’re designed to live and lead.

Sometimes, the thing that looks small is the very thing God uses to move something big.

That’s the power of a tugboat. 🚢

We don’t need a title, a platform, or a room full of people to make an impact. God can use your faith, your prayers, your voice, and your willingness to show up.

Thank you, Rev. William D. Watley, for this powerful reminder.

Don’t sleep on your tugboat power 🚢

In Acts 23, Paul’s nephew wasn’t the one with the title, the position, or the power. But he had information, he had courage, and he was willing to move. So what looked small became the very thing God used to protect Paul and keep the assignment moving.

And that’s the reminder Rev. William Watley brought us today: we don’t have to be the biggest to make an impact. God can use what looks small to move something much bigger.

Don’t underestimate what God can do through you. You might be the tugboat that helps move somebody else forward.

Watch the full sermon on YouTube at and share this message with someone who needs the reminder.

👉🏾 Swipe through for some snaps from Communion Sunday at Calverton!

Today, we gathered around the table to remember Jesus, His sacrifice, and the grace that brings us together. 🍞🍷 When we come to the table, we remember what Jesus has done for us and declare that we belong to Him and to one another. It’s an expression of our faith, our shared identity, and our commitment to walk together as the body of Christ.

Thank you to everyone who worshipped with us. We’re grateful for another Sunday together. 🙌🏾
