The Adventure kids packed up shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child on Sunday! It was so fun seeing all of the kids pick things specifically for “their kids.” We ended up packing 24 boxes. Good job guys!🎄

Last Sunday for our icebreaker game we had the kids jump up and down holding Bibles over their heads. Our Bible story was about Samson and his gift of strength from God. After we tired most of them out, we had the remaining four kids do push ups to claim our winner! Safe to say the kids were much calmer while listening to the lesson. 😅

Children’s ministry season is in full swing over here at First Baptist! Last Sunday we had our first ever “Promotion Sundae.” The kids got to sing a song and explain what the Gospel is to the entire congregation of FBC. Then we painted some Bible bags and ate yummy ice cream from Calumet’s very own, Copper Scoop! Thank you to everyone who pitched in and helped out this past Sunday, the “Adventure Kids” had a blast! 🤩🍨✝️

Children’s ministry has been having a blast this summer at FBC! The 1-5th graders have been earning “Adventure Kash” every Sunday. Back in May they got the chance to exchange it for some prizes at our very first Adventure Kids store! 🤩
