Someone has to lead....
Someone has to get a little uncomfortable...
Will it be you???❤

Someone’s going to have to lead the pack.

Awkward, I know.

But someone’s going to have to get a little weird with it.

With your peers watching…

…maybe even snickering.

If you can move beyond what that girl from high school will think about you…then you can actually follow God in passionate pursuit.

No..no. Not like pull up to church in our sea of shiny SUVs, Ray-Bans and Louis Vuitton bags.

I’m talking about laying hands on the sick at the grocery store.

I’m talking about being so in tune with Holy Spirit that you can prophecy to the girl in line at Starbucks….

That you can sense the spirit of su***de and call it out in a strangers life at the gas station.

You were called to that, you know that right?

John 14:12 said you would do greater works than even He did.

You!
Beloved, you.

Every woman that you look up to spiritually has had to follow her call with someone laughing….

She’s had to do it with someone thinking she’s arrogant for considering herself worthy.

With someone bringing up her past.

But she gets beyond the thoughts of the masses to reach for the Master.

And every day that we don’t…we are tucking the gifts and call placed on our lives in the back of the closet….

We’re telling God that He didn’t design them pretty enough.

We’re choosing pride and our image over the very reason we are here.

And every day…every soul connected to our unanswered call is lacking without it.

We have to stop shielding our reputations at the cost of our purpose.

We have to stop grasping for things that would never matter in a casket.

And we have to move beyond the motions.

Three Hymns and a hand clap are beautiful….

But someone’s got to push beyond the norm, beyond the reputable, beyond their pride…

To get to the lost.

Someone’s got to clear the path back to revival.

So choose today to put on your path clearing clothes, throw your image to the wind and toss your pride to the side…

Someone is waiting in the trenches.

And that call on that shelf in your closet is perhaps what He’s planned to use to pull them out.

Some will come alongside and some will mock you.

Yes, even the wolves are watching.

But someone has to lead the pack. 🤍

When I look at God's Truth, I see God delighting in those who are willing to make Him their complete focus. We are called to enjoy the Lord over anything else this life can offer. Accompanying the call is a promise. God promises if we make Him our all, He will satisfy us in His presence—He will give us peace.
Sadly, many of us know this truth, but still we go astray. We either believe we can find joy apart from God or we tap out on being faithful and choose to disengage.
The good news is that restoration is possible even after we lose our way. The Bible is full of examples of God’s grace to keep us focused on him, as well as his patience and kindness when we confess our lack of prioritizing him and repent and turn away from the things that have captured our affections.

Consider this: if you have slipped into auto-pilot it’s not too late to wake up. Hear the voice of Lord calling to you as he did in the Garden with Adam and Eve, asking “where are you”?
Don’t be ashamed to admit the truth to yourself and to God. If you’re distracted, anxious, or lacking faith, call out to God and make your needs known. Don’t settle for less. If you’re tired, God offers rest. If you’ve made mistakes, God offers forgiveness. God is near to you today.

Prayer:
God help me to prioritize You. Bring me rest through You.

We’ve all made choices we regret. But when we understand what sin is and why we do it, we can take practical steps to overcome it.

~MISDIRECTION~

The enemy knows this trick well. Remember that argument you had with your brother, or the resentment you feel toward your ........ ?
Misdirection. Do you feel all the tension in this world: nation against nation, brother against brother? The enemy is so good at making us think that each other is the enemy.
This is why I love worship! It’s the ultimate compass, the re-centering, the perspective giver! And guess what? It has another purpose. It’s like gasoline. Worship magnifies our true King and Lord and gives us ammunition. There’s a reason that both sports teams and warriors of old lift up a shout while going out onto the field.
When we sing, our voices literally move the air around us. It turns thoughts and emotions to energy that affect our world around us. In Ephesians 2:2 the devil is referred to as the prince of the power of the air. When we lift up a worshipful war cry against him, it literally tears through his living quarters and he must run for cover!
So be wise. Don’t put your energy toward shouting at that guy who just cut you off in traffic. Maybe next time take a swing at the real enemy and I’ll bet you’ll be surprised. Man, it feels pretty good to land a punch to the gut and knock the wind out of our real foe!

Many days in a child's life involve simply putting one foot in front of the other—being diligent and faithful to finish the job at hand. And it’s times like these when you, as his/her parent, have the opportunity to instill a vision for their future.
You will often see more than your child has the maturity or capacity to comprehend. Show them how their diligence and faithfulness are connected to the future God already has planned for them.
You don’t have to wait for a magic moment, a special occasion, or some great challenge to speak words of destiny and hope into your child's heart.
The ordinary, everyday moments are the best times to remind them of what they'll need to hang on to at some point: God is present, God has a plan, and God has a purpose in everything.
It’s an important truth to have settled in their mind before life throws them a curveball. God is at work in every aspect of our lives, molding us into the people He wants us to be.
If you regularly speak this kind of vision into your child's heart, they will be better equipped to handle the highs and lows they will be sure to encounter.

Child Of Love

I’ve heard it said that we spend most of our adult years trying to get back to the purity of the childlike place when we were young, before we were confused by the brokenness of our influences and our darkened world.
We are born with brokenness inside of us and look to thousands of different things to fill our void, most of which leave us more broken than before. We are looking for someone or something who will heal us and unveil truth to us. We learn from our parents. Oftentimes, we find ourselves regurgitating the very words or the very things they said or did first to us. We learn how to walk, to talk, to act, to hate, to love, to gossip, to rejoice, to put down, to build up, to abandon, to abuse, to fight, to make decisions and to decide what to believe. We learn very good, beautiful things from our parents and we also learn detrimental, destructive things. Even if our parents were wonderful, they were still broken too. We still continue on our search for how to live and how to be.
As we grow older and become adults, we learn we are responsible for our actions and we experience the painful consequences. We run into walls, we bleed, we toil, we strive and yet we’re still broken.
The beautiful thing is that oftentimes, the more broken we are, the clearer we are able to see past all the false fillers and we can see that the love of God is the only thing that will fill the void in our soul. We quit trying to keep up our pretenses, we quit trying to elevate ourselves to feel better, we quit running to cheap things to fill ourselves.
We meet our true Parent, our true Father, the Perfect One Who has been loving us all the while and patiently waiting for us to realize that He is ready to fill us with Himself and help us relearn life through the lenses of Love. Our guard comes crashing down when we see that it’s not about how cleaned up, nor how rebellious we can be to get attention. We have been loved all the while.
We come to know God and understand Him as His love takes control and fills our souls and runs over into the lives of those around us. God is Love, in Him there is no darkness. We are His children and we belong to Love.

some reminders for anyone dealing with condemnation. God doesn’t condemn, shame or blame. He calls us higher to who we really are and comforts us in our time of need. Run to God in your trouble and allow Him to set you free.

👌A little louder for those in the back📣

Patience my friends.

A blessing that comes too soon is no blessings at all. Many of us try and make things happen outside of Gods timing but the problem with that is our character isn’t built or at the level it needs to be to steward the blessing God has for us.

The prodigal son demanded his inheritance. He got it, then bounced from his fathers house only to end up in the pigs pen broke, hungry and defeated. That inheritance was a major blessing but he didn’t have the character to sustain it.

Let’s learn from his mistakes and trust God’s timing. Don’t try and rush the blessing or rush your process. In due season you will reap if you do not faint.
