NOW HIRING: STUDENT PASTOR
The Anchor Church is searching for our next Student Pastor!
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Jesus, loves students, and feels called to lead and disciple the next generation. This is a full-time ministry position focused on leading our ministry for students in grades 6–12.
This opening comes as part of an exciting season of growth and transition at The Anchor Church. Our current Youth Pastor is not leaving The Anchor Church but is transitioning into the role of Associate Pastor. This transition was announced to our church family at our business meeting at the end of August, and our next Student Pastor will have the opportunity to step into an established ministry with continued support throughout the transition.
Our student ministry regularly reaches 90–130 students each week and has seen attendance as high as 190 students. The next Student Pastor will have the opportunity to build on a strong foundation while continuing to grow the ministry’s reach, discipleship, leadership, and impact throughout our church and community.
This role will include:
• Leading dynamic weekly student services
• Preaching and teaching biblical, relevant messages
• Building meaningful relationships with students and families
• Discipling students and developing student leaders
• Recruiting, equipping, and leading a strong adult volunteer team
• Planning camps, retreats, trips, events, and outreach opportunities
• Connecting with local schools and the surrounding community
• Helping students develop a genuine, lasting relationship with Jesus
We’re looking for someone who is spiritually mature, energetic, relational, creative, dependable, and ready to be part of a team that believes deeply in reaching the next generation.
