I have held off sharing information on Chaplain Jon Conant’s home going for his family privacy. His obituary is now posted as a memorial on Facebook. Please stop by the site to read and share your stories with Jon’s family

Chaplain Jon was our much loved San Gorgonio Warriors 4 Christ Chaplain. He had served the Lord with Prison Ministry, Children’s ministry, helping with the church.; and finally with CMA. We joked that we were his noisiest ministry.

During a Bible Study pot luck he decided that we needed to take Communion as a family. It meant so much to me that we did. He shared the Lord’s word with and prayed for all of us. I am very grateful to the Lord and Jon’s family for sharing him with us the past few years. He is missed.

My Mother used to tell a story about her Dad’s funeral. He had been a minister until the last year of his life. The Pastor at the service said “this is not a funeral this is a coronation”. This is true for Jon. He has gone home for his crowns and is laying them at the feet of Jesus and interceding on per behalf

Jon we miss you, your corny jokes, your rebel vest, your knowledge of God’s word, and your prayers for all of us.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
