Today, we want to take a moment to honor the men and their families who faithfully serve the Lord and the people of Mountain View. We are so thankful for their sacrifice, dedication, and heart for ministry!
Pastor William Newton | Lead Pastor
Six years ago, Pastor William Newton and his family took a tremendous leap of faith, moving to California to help restart Mountain View. What began as a step of faith has grown into something greater than we could have ever imagined!
Over the past six years, we have watched God do incredible things through this ministry. Souls have been saved, believers baptized, disciples made, and families restored. We’ve seen a thriving church community established and a private Christian school started. The Lord has been so good, and we believe the best is yet to come!
We are thankful for Pastor Newton’s vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to following God’s calling.
Pastor Erik Olivas | Assistant Pastor
Pastor Erik and his wife, Azurae, joined our ministry after leaving seminary, and they quickly became such a wonderful addition to our church family!
Since arriving, they have welcomed their sweet baby girl, Bellamie, and have continued faithfully serving the Lord together.
Pastor Erik teaches our Life Builders class, preaches, disciples, and serves as Pastor William’s right-hand man in the ministry. Azurae faithfully serves as the principal of our Christian academy. Together, they have invested their hearts into the people and ministry of Mountain View.
We are so grateful for their willingness to serve and the tremendous blessing they have been to our church family!
Pastor Joseph Estrada | Youth Pastor
Pastor Joseph and his wife, Jessica, joined Mountain View several years ago and immediately began pouring their hearts into the next generation.
What started as a burden for reaching young people has grown into a thriving youth ministry that continues to bring teenagers through our doors and under the preaching of God’s Word!
Through their faithful service, countless hours of investment, and genuine love for young people, Joseph and Jessica are making an eternal difference. In addition to leading our youth ministry, Joseph faithfully serves as a deacon in our church.
We are thankful for their passion for reaching the next generation and their dedication to serving the Lord!
To all three of our pastors and their families: THANK YOU!
Thank you for the unseen sacrifices, the countless hours, the prayers, the preaching, the discipleship, and the love you pour into our church family.
Ministry is not simply what you do; it is a calling you have faithfully answered.
We love and appreciate each of you, and we look forward to all that God has in store for Mountain View Baptist Church!
