Thank you to all who came out to Rita's to support our 2027 VBS through this spirit night. Who knew that Rita's has more than just Italian Ice? Have you tried their Frozen Custard? It's like soft serve ice cream, but WAY better. Yum!!! Our OFH "workers" had lots of fun behind the counter, too.

We had another good turnout for one of our Spirit Nights to support our 2027 VBS. This Spirit Night was at Texas Roadhouse this past Thursday (Sept. 24th). It looks like a number of us enjoyed a marvelous meal. I know I ate so much that I could barely eat anything the next day!

Are you ready for our Annual Church Cookout? It's this Sunday, September, 20th.

We've been cleaning up the pavilion and surrounding areas to get ready for you. Thank you, Pete, for all the power washing of the chairs, pavilion slab, and tables! We appreciate all the time you devoted to this effort!!!

Invite someone to church and stay for the cookout afterwards. If you're able, here's what you can bring to share:

* A main dish AND
* A side dish or dessert.

We will have the grills running if you'd like to bring a meat to cook onsite. OFH will provide:

* Hot dogs & hot dog buns,
* Water & lemonade,
* Condiments, and
* Plasticware & paper products.

After the meal, kids of all ages are welcome to enjoy the playground and activities such as basketball, co****le, soccer, and frisbees. Bring your entire family and invite some friends! We're looking forward to an exciting day together!

Come on out to Bruster's TONIGHT (Mon., Sept. 14th, 6-8PM) to enjoy a casual evening with family and friends while having some ice cream, a sundae, a milkshake, etc. YUMMY! Twenty-five percent (25%) of all purchases between 6PM and 8 PM will go to OFH's 2027 VBS. How exciting to know that you can enjoy a sweet treat while helping OFH receive a donation for our 2027 VBS.

Bruster's is located at 23825 Mervell Dean Road, Hollywood, MD 20636.

Some of you may not know that we've recently had a leaky roof in the sunroom, especially when we had hard, driving rains. Well, no more!!! Sean and his crew blessed us with a roof cleaning while they fixed the cause of the leakiness. They even redid the caulking around the windows while they were up there. Check out the before and after pictures... what an amazing transformation!

Kudos to Sean and his crew for all the hard work they did to bless us! You guys ROCK!
