Young Life High Desertis gearing up for a brand new semester of student ministry on the campus of California City High School. We’re installing three new student leaders. Please pray for these young men who have said yes to Jesus, and yes to serving YLHD at CCHS!

We have an exciting event coming up in California City on November 7th & 8th at the Arts & Community Center in Central Park. This mini musical will be performed by The Hub. Dr. Katherine Aguirre, Superintendent of the Mojave Unified School District invited a group of us to meet with her today. We discussed how Young Life High Desert and other Christ followers can increase our presence on our public school campuses. Blessing what God is doing!

This is what an Operation Backpack (prepping crew) looks like. This good lookin’ group of young and old Desert Song partners put together several hundred backpacks filled with school supplies to be given out FREE to our city families tonight at Desert Song at 6pm.

We just had our last Young Life Club on the High School campus for this semester. We also honored six of our graduating seniors. My beautiful bride, Micki Jo brought a message to a room full of students. Our off campus YL Club starts soon.

We invited my good buddy to speak at our Young Life Club on the campus of the California City High School today. We had a total of 41 students, and the message spoken by Pastor James Robinson of First Baptist of California City rocked.

We had a prayer session tonight for Young Life High Desert. We lifted up our prayers, and God heard us. Would you too join us as we continue to pray for this ministry God has allowed us to be a part of in bringing the message of Jesus onto the California City High School campus.
