Sunday, June 14--Pray for Iowa and the North Mariana Islands (US Territory).
Iowa became a state on December 28, 1846. Its governor is the Honorable Kim Reynolds.

The North Mariana Islands became a territory of the United States on November 4, 1986. Its governor is the Honorable David M. Apatang.
The territory comprises 14 islands in the northwestern Pacific Ocean.

Pray for the people of Iowa and the North Mariana Islands. May bless them with His favor.

Saturday, June 13--Pray for Texas
Texas became a state on December 29, 1845. The current governor is the Honorable Greg Abbott.
It is known as "The Lone Star State" for its distinctive state flag. Its state motto is "Friendship." Short, simple, yet direct--like a firm handshake.
Pray for the great state of Texas and its many citizens!

Friday, June 12--Pray for Florida.

Florida became a state on March 3, 1845. The current governor is the Honorable Ron DeSantis.

Florida is known as "The Sunshine State." Its state motto is "In God We Trust."

Florida is a peninsula, flanked by the Gulf of Mexico on the west and the Atlantic Ocean on the east.

May God watch over the state of Florida. May they put their trust in Him.

Thursday, June 11--Pray for Michigan, which became a state on January 26, 1837. Its current governor is the Honorable Gretchen Whitmer.

Michigan is the only state to touch four of the five Great Lakes; and it is divided into two large peninsulas, the Upper and Lower Peninsulas.

Pray for this uniquely situated state and its citizens.

Arkansas was the 25th state to enter the Union. It became a state on June 15, 1836. The current governor of Arkansas is the Honorable Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The state motto is "Regnat Populus"--"The People Rule."

May God grant them the wisdom to rule righteously.

Missouri became a state on August 10, 1821. The current governor is the Honorable Mike Hehoe. Missouri's well-known nickname is "The Show Me State."

Pray for this beautiful state and its people.

Maine was the 23rd state to enter the Union, and did so on March 15, 1820. Their current governor is the Honorable Janet Mills.

Their state motto is "Dirigo," which is Latin for "I lead" or "I direct."

May God grant them the desire to lead righteously!
