We had such a wonderful night at Wednesday Wellness. 🤍

To say we were refreshed in the presence of God doesn’t even begin to describe it.

We shared stories of the moments when God met us in the mountains and the valleys—times when we became deeply conscious of His presence and realized He had been there all along.

And somewhere in the middle of sharing those stories, we didn’t just talk about His presence.

We experienced it.

There was worship. There were tears. There was prayer. There was surrender. And there was such a beautiful awareness that God was right there with us.

This is Step 11:
Improving our conscious contact with God.

And tonight, He reminded us just how close He really is. 🤍

Just sitting here reminiscing about all that God is doing on Wellness Wednesday. ❤️

We had such an amazing turnout this week, but one of my favorite things about Wednesday Wellness is that there are no “big I’s and little you’s.” It’s simply a room full of people who know we need Jesus—and who are willing to be honest about the places where He is still teaching, healing, and growing us.

Step 10 has taken us into some hard conversations about what it really means to love people well.

We’re learning that loving someone doesn’t mean carrying them.

It doesn’t mean fixing them, rescuing them, controlling the outcome, or taking responsibility for something God never assigned to us.

We’re learning to love with protection, dignity, and truth. To recognize that we can deeply love people while having different levels of responsibility in different relationships. To walk beside one another without becoming one another’s source.

Because ultimately, there is only ONE Source—and it isn’t us. It’s Jesus.

God entrusts us every day with different people, different relationships, and different assignments. Our job isn’t to own them. Our job is to steward what He has placed in our hands and continually point one another back to Him.

I’m so thankful for what God is building in this little community. We aren’t learning how to become people who have it all together.

We’re learning how to love well. ❤️

Closing out a great day of food, fellowship and connecting! We are looking forward to visiting more in the coming weeks about getting connected, finding where you fit, and serving alongside one another. There’s a place for you here. ❤️
