As you probably know, September 17 will mark the 230th anniversary of the signing of the American Constitution.

Compared to other nations, the United States is young. But at 230 years, our Constitution is by far the longest lasting constitution in human history. More importantly, it is responsible for our nation becoming the freest and most prosperous nation in human history.

Today, the future of both freedom and prosperity are in question in our country, largely because we have been failing to teach our young people the fundamentals of American civics that are essential to preserve free government.

I'm sorry folks but the Community Bldg. folks were at the cemetery when he porta potty was being delivered and Bob Cox block the gate to stop the driver from entering the cemetery. Then the phones calls started. Everyone started showing up in support of Bob. The Forest service was called and said we could do anything within the boundaries of the cemetery, saying not their problem. The Baxter Co. Sheriff was called and two Deputies arrived and questioned me by myself because i reported Lyle Wilson who told me he was going to kill me and admitted it to the deputies. The final act was the deputies asking me to leave while they were there so i wouldn't get hurt. Now I have to see an Investigator with our paperwork and explain our position on the matter.

I would like to explore the possibility of getting a solar powered LED spotlight to illuminate the flag and in inclement weather some one could take it down and fold it to the acceptable triangle. Also regardless of our political opinions Courtesy requires us to fly a flag at half staff to Honor a person who has made outstanding contributions to our country.

$1000.00 that would be a outstanding day. However this FB page is intended to allow friends and family living in other parts of the country to voice their opinion and have a way to donate from afar. im still waiting for the equipment for the Iphone so don't start worrying about it just yet, it should be ready by Decoration Day June 5th 2016. This year I'll try to get a lot of photos. This gathering of families and friends has over a hundred years of attendance and it is a public venue not protected by privacy laws.

Well we can't get the Porta-potty company from last year. They doubled the price after burning up their truck when they were delivering. The one in Batesville wanted a little over $600.00.
The one I decided on I think is from Midway and will charge a little more than last year but within acceptable limits. It will be dropped off on June 3rd. I will be thereto make payment and collect the billing info.
