We had an amazing Youth Sunday! Our youth did a great job! Brice Moorehouse brought a powerful message. We had 2 baptized and enjoyed a fellowship meal. God is good!

Bring them to church❤️

As a mom, sometimes I leave church feeling like I got absolutely nothing out of it.

The entire time, I was taking care of my baby.

She was crying.
She needed a diaper change.
She wanted to be held.
She refused to go to the nursery.
I barely heard the sermon.

And you know what?

That’s okay.

Because I didn’t go to church just to sit quietly and listen to a sermon.

I went to bring my family into the presence of God.

Maybe my baby didn’t let me hear every word the pastor said, but she was still there.

Maybe I spent more time in the hallway than in the sanctuary, but I still showed up.

Maybe I didn’t leave feeling spiritually refreshed, but I planted a seed in my children that I pray will grow for the rest of their lives.

Motherhood can make church look different.

Sometimes worship looks like singing with a baby on your hip.

Sometimes it looks like praying over a crying toddler in the parking lot.

Sometimes it looks like changing a diaper during the sermon.

Sometimes it looks like simply showing up tired, distracted, and overwhelmed.

So if you went to church and feel like you didn’t “get anything out of it,” remember this

God saw you show up.
