We had a great Master Clubs Commencement last night! We’re thankful for all our youth workers and supportive church family. It was exciting to hear the children recite scripture and give testimonies of what they’d learned this year.

“That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.” Joshua‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God instructed the Israelites to build a memorial when they crossed the Jordan river to remind future generations of the sacrifice’s and miracles that secured their freedom.

We are naturally prone to forget. We forget the sacrifice so many have made that we may have liberty. Let us pause today and remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸
