Calhoun First United Methodist Church Preschool strives to prepare children for the social and academic expectations required in public and private school systems. Our number one goal is to help children learn to love school through loving teachers, small classroom size, fun activities, and learning through play. Betty, including children who turn 15 months by September 1st. You can choose from a
2 day, or 3 day week for your toddler. We offer 3 day or 5 day weeks for the 2s. Separate "3s" Classes are offered to accommodate the needs of our 3 year olds, and their parents. The 5 day week class is offered with a class led by Ms. The 3 day week class is offered with a class led by Ms. Alison. Laurie can also provide 3 day week class, when Ms. Alison's class is full, b/c of her larger classroom size. The "4s" Class is taught by Ms. Sunshine, and is a 5 day/wk class. There are 2 floating Aides that provide assistance to the teachers as needed, Ms. Saunya and Ms. Cathy. The Director is Shea Walraven. The staff ranges from a wide variety of experience levels. However, we all work together for the benefit of the children that we are blessed to share our days with. Please consider us as a part of your child's early education experience.
