We all know that God requires of us to do right in all our ways; to be merciful and kind; and to humble ourselves before Him in obedience to His will. We know this but we fail to follow through. But He loves us through our failures and calls us to try again.

A love that gives mercy and grace is like the love of God. The Father gave His Son. The Son gave His life. The Spirit gives us power. None of these take.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

If you are a child of God, He is on your side!!! You and God are a majority.

Some folks may not see how God works in the disasters of life. Notice how God tells Isaiah that He is with us going through these events rather than keeping us from them. Every event is an opportunity to grow our faith and trust in God. Not to eliminate trials.

I have learned there are lasting consequences when I fail to wait on the Lord. In fact some of those consequences negatively impact others to this day. I have come to believe that not waiting on Him is sin.

Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Persecution comes in many ways but death is the worst form. Those who are persecuted because of their faith in Christ will certainly inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.

Peace is often hard to attain. Yet peace is what most civilized people desire. Working together for peace is the will of God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
