Go Ministries is raising funds to purchase Bibles for pastors in Tanzania. A friend of ours from there messaged us concerned and heartbroken that so many of his co-laborers in the Gospel ministry have tattered and torn Bibles, and some have no Bible at all. His prayer is for God to provide Bible for these brothers so the Word of God will be proclaimed throughout Tanzania. Our goal is to purchase at least 25 Bibles, at a cost of approximately $20. We begin our journey home tonight. Please pray for us - many of the team has been sick for days, including me! It’s a long miserable flight when you feel good, so we need God to intervene! Just trying to pack is a challenge - I have a few hours so Lord willing I can get it done! Trusting in His mercy for all of us!!!

Just a few from today. We were in Kwangethe Primary and Secondary School until 1 pm. We are delivering food to very needy families this afternoon. Thank you for your prayers and to all who have supported us financially! Without each of you this ministry would not be possible!!!

Just a quick update - we made it safely and hit the ground running! The team taught Sunday school twice and attended both worship services. After lunch we visited two orphanages. Tomorrow we start in the school and will visit families and deliver food in the afternoon. Will try to share more later, but now I really need some sleep!

Only 45 days until we head for Kenya!!! Thank you so much to those who have already supported our upcoming trip by giving financially, through prayer and by purchasing items on our wish list. Because there are sooo many students we are needing more supplies than we originally thought. We have revised our wish list to reflect the additional supplies needed. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2S0N3ZUA2LKGR... Please take a look to see if there is something you feel led to purchase. Our goal is to give the students 2 pencils, 2 pencil erasers, a small pencil sharpener and a plastic pencil case to hold everything. And then there are some items just for fun.

We are grateful for the opportunity the Lord has provided for us to go to Githurai Kimbo and teach in the public school. We will be teaching English, Science and Bible Lessons to over 2,000 student! It's a privilege to share the truth of Scripture with such impressionable minds and we covet your prayers for us to rightly handle God's Word. May He be glorified in all we do!!!

***UPDATE ON SUPPLIES FOR KENYA***

It's hard to believe, but due to the overwhelming generosity of so many of you, we almost have everything we need for the schools!!! The only items remaining are 500 pencil cases and 600 pencils. If you haven't had a chance to give, and you are interested in helping us knock out the wish list, we would be so grateful!! (See the link below.)

Please check out our wish list on Amazon for our upcoming trip to Kenya! Go Ministries is taking a team to Kenya in May. We will be teaching in the public school, working at an orphanage, and taking food to needy families. The food and supplies for the orphanage we will purchase in country, but supplies for the students and teachers we will purchase here and carry with us. Go Ministries is taking a group to Kenya is May 2024. If you are interested in going, click on the link to sign-up. This platform will also allow you set up a personal fundraising page that you can share with family and friends, and on social media.
