Main Street Church of Christ

Main Street Church of Christ Welcome to our page. We are a local church that is determined to follow Jesus our, Lord, Master, Purchaser and Founder. We have the Bible as our guide.

Our goal and mission is exactly that of Jesus: To seek and to save that which is lost. We are a church of people that are far from perfect, but we realize that we have been saved by the grace of God and strive to please him through living as God wishes. The preaching from the pulpit is Bible based. We strived to teach where the Bible teaches and strive to remain silent where the Bible is silent.

We start each sermon by asking each attendee to open their Bibles to verify the message is from God. We ask that each person do not one thing more or one thing less than that which God authorizes. If you are in the area of McLean County Kentucky and looking for a church home, we hope that you will come for a visit.

There is No Comparison!
Man-made Religion says: "One way is as good as another."
*The New Testament says: "There is only one way" (John 14:6)
Man-made Religion says: "One faith is as good as another"
*The New Testament says: "There is only one faith" (Eph 4:5)
Man-made Religion says: "One church is as good as another"
*The New Testament says: There is only one church" (Matt 16:18)
Man-made religion preaches: "many different Gospels"
*The New Testament says: There is no other Gospel (Gal.1:6-12)
Man-made Religion says: "We are all going to the same place"
*The New Testament says: "Not everyone religious will be saved" (Matt 7:21)
Jesus has a question for those practicing man-made religions: "....Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46)
