The Islamic Center of San Diego has established the Official ICSD Victim & Family Support Fund to support individuals and families impacted by the tragic shooting incident at the ICSD masjid campus.
This fund will help provide direct assistance and recovery support for those affected during this extremely difficult time.
ICSD is managing this effort directly to help ensure transparency, accountability, and coordinated support for impacted families and community needs connected to this incident.
We respectfully ask community members not to create unofficial fundraising campaigns and to rely only on official ICSD communication channels for verified donation information.
Donations may be made as sadaqah or general charitable contributions.

With great sadness, the Islamic Center of Calexico extends its deepest condolences for the tragic loss of three heroes who gave their lives defending children during a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego - ICSD .

Many of us in this community had the privilege of knowing Amin Abdullah, the security guard, who was the kind face welcoming us with a smile every time we arrived at the mosque. We also remember Mansour Kaziha and Nader Awad, both of whom bravely intervened and risked their lives in this act of sacrifice.

Their courage, kindness, and love for the community will never be forgotten. May Allah grant them peace and give strength to their families. We stand together in grief and prayer.

Today we were blessed to welcome two brothers at our Jumu‘ah prayer: Elías, the older brother, and Isa, the younger.

May Allah bless our children, strengthen their faith, and allow them to grow with love for prayer and community. 🤲🕌

Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return
We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of our dear brother Zubair Ahmed leaving behind his wife and three kids.
He was very involved with our Youth Group and ICSD community.
We ask Allah SWT to have mercy on him and forgive him for his shortcomings and grant him Jannah Al-Firdaws.
We ask that He bless his family with patience and strength during this difficult time

Yesterday we were blessed with the joyful visit of two young visitors, Elias and Isa, from Mexicali, Baja California 🇲🇽.

May Allah make it easy for their parents to bring them back to visit us again soon. Ameen.

The Islamic Center of Calexico is honored to welcome not only our local community from California, but also Muslims traveling from Mexico — especially from our neighbors in Mexicali.
