Cleaning in summer!
1. Make sure your air filter is clean! You can clean it with soapy water. (Just make sure its completely dry before putting it back in! Having a clean air filter can make your AC work even better!
2. Clean and reverse your fans! Not only can dust build-up cause more allergies, but it can also be one reason your house isnt staying cool! Another function is the "summer time" switch on your fans! The fans need to be going counter clockwise!
3. Take advantage of the warm weather and wash your windows and window screens! The humidity can actually cause mold to build up! Keep easy breathing and wipe your screens with warm soapy water!
4. Clean your fridge! Warmer temperatures will cause bacterial build up faster! Use a gentle anti bacterial and warm water to prevent mold, mildew, and bacterial build up.
5. Cleaning your garbage disposal and drains are very important! Warmer weather causes food to rot much faster. To help this issue pour a good amount of baking soda down the drain and add vinegar! Let it bubble for awhile and then turn your disposal on.

Savanna's cleaning with pets tips:
1. Tired of having to dump your kitty litter and get dust everywhere? Cut time in half and save yourself from the dust by lining your kitty box like a trash can for a quick change!
2. Pets like to chew on furniture? Try buying some bitter spray in the pet section or spraying a good amount of vinegar on it!
3. Anxious dog in the bath? Keep them busy with a homemade lick mat! Just get some dog-safe peanut butter and smear it on the wall! Your dog will stay and lick their treat off the wall while getting a good scrub! (This is my favorite trick for my husky! The hardest part is getting him washed before all the peanut butter is gone😜)
4. Furniture starting to smell like your pets? A quick fix is sprinkling a generous amount of baking soda and letting it sit for 20-30 minutes! Vacuum it all up and your furniture will no longer smell like animal!
5. Does your cat have that ONE spot that you absolutely hate? Keep cats away from unwanted areas buy laying down aluminum foil! Cats absolutely despise the feel and sound of foil!
6. Have a dog that drools a lot? Try a doggy bandana! It's basically a baby bibb for dogs. It keeps the drool off their fur and makes a cute accessory.

Here is this weeks cleaning tips on: Lemons! 🍋
1. Lemons are high in citric acid and has a low Ph! Which causes them to have antibacterial properties!
2:Not only do they smell great, but they are less likely to cause harm to your wooden kitchen tops, appliances, and utensils! (You can also deodorize your wooden cutting boards by sprinkling some salt, cutting a lemon in half, and rubbing 1/2 the lemon all over your board!)
3: You can easily wipe up any spill or mess in the microwave by simply microwave 2parts water and 1 part lemon juice for 30 seconds to 1 minute!
4: Does spaghetti sauce in your Tupperware hysterically annoying? Here's a quick and easy trick for it! Pour lemon juice in your container, let it sit for 15 minutes and clean like normal!
5: Lemon can also be used to clean your grill grates! Turn grill on and rub 1/2 a lemon on the grates! (For extra abrasiveness dip the lemon into salt first!
6:Lemon Juice can also dissolve rust! Add a little salt to the affected area, add a little lemon juice, and let it sit! (Don't let it sit to long or it could cause damage)

10 did you know questions.....???

1. A magic eraser will get crayons off of the walls?
2. Acetone will take super glue off glass or counters.
3. Spraying pine sol will make ants go away.
4. Hand sanitizer will get permanent marker off most any surface.
5. If you get a zip lock full of vinegar and tie it around your shower head and leave it over night, it will take the corrosion off.
6. Scrubbing bubbles is NOT a disinfectant.
7. Magic erasers will take off most rust stains.
8. If you have a burnt pan or a hard to clean pan you can fill with water and boil it for a couple of minutes and it will come right off.
9. Bar keepers friend is the best thing to use on stainless steel.
10. Rubbing a dryer sheet on you will keep mosquitos away!

Hello and thank you for considering Mama Bear and Little Bit's Helping Hands. My name is Brianna Wilson. I am the mother of 3 amazing children and I am currently in Nursing 3. I am a child of God and love attending The River Church. I made my business to help the busy people of Bryan and Grayson county with their everyday chores. My business has grown to also help with churches and businesses as well. I am available to help with light duty cleaning as well as deep cleaning.
