What a great way to celebrate Independence Day.

Caleb and I have been praying for the healing of Bobby and Christine Young, as well as the Salvation of Dell Young, their son.

Through the perfect timing that only could have come from God, Caleb was able to talk to Dell on the phone and led him to Christ during their conversation.
And today, at the beginning of the church service, Caleb baptized Dell as a public profession of Dell’s faith in Jesus and let the world know that he asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior.

For Caleb, Dell was the first (I’m sure not the last) person that Caleb baptized.
For Dell, it was a special Independence Day indeed. By his baptism, he stated to the world that he is now free from satan’s hold on his life, free from his old self, free to walk in the newness of Christ as a true child of the living God. An Independence Day that will be remembered for the rest of his life.

Thank you all for your prayers for this family. Keep praying as Dell begins his new life and understanding of what it truly means to be a Christian.
